Help Children Discover Their Calling
In the Word of God, we see incredible stories of how people that seemingly had all of the odds stacked against them lived out amazing lives as they placed their trust in God. We see this in the life of David. He was just a shepherd boy that had a pure heart for God, but God used him to become the king of Israel!We see this also in Joseph. His life had very humble beginnings and seemed to take a turn for the worst when he was sold into slavery, but God was always with him. As he stayed faithful, Joseph was able to step into the position of second in command in all of Egypt. There is truly nothing that God can’t do when we make the decision to trust in Him no matter what difficult circumstances and situations come our way.
By committing ourselves to God, we commit ourselves to an incredibly bright future. It might not always be easy, but we can have confidence because God never leaves us or forsakes us. He gives us the strength that we need in order to continue in what He has for us.
Help the Body of Christ Grow
Every now and then, it’s good to stop and consider why we’re really here on this Earth. Why doesn’t God just immediately transport us to Heaven when we become believers? Because we still have a job to do on this Earth. God has given us the commission to go into all the world and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. We are on this Earth as ambassadors and representatives for God. We are to diffuse His heavenly fragrance everywhere that we go.Our time on this Earth is limited. We only have a set amount of time to fulfill what God wants us to do before we pass on to be with Him. A key part of us fulfilling what God wants us to do is reaching children. Our children will be on this Earth long after our generation has come and gone. Because of this, we have the awesome opportunity to leave a legacy.
A legacy of prepared young people that are ready to continue fulfilling God’s call for our lives. Our children’s Bible program can be the first step towards establishing that legacy. Our program can be used to help your children understand their role in God’s plan and step into everything that He has for them.
Foster Integrity
Integrity means doing the right thing even when everyone around you is doing the wrong thing. Integrity means living out your life as a follower of Christ at home alone and around your friends, family, and acquaintances.Without the Word of God, moral relativism prevails. With this line of thinking, something could be wrong today and then morally acceptable tomorrow. As believers, we believe that the Word of God is the absolute source of truth. God’s Word never changes. It’s the same yesterday, today, and always. In a world that is always changes its ideas about the truth, the Word of God is an invaluable moral touchstone.
We can maintain our integrity because no matter what situations we might face, we can always return to the Word of God to gain His perspective on the problem we are facing. Because of this, it’s vital that we teach our children that the Word of God is there to help them stay grounded in their beliefs. We can prepare them for life by teaching them how to effectively search out the Word of God on their own when they face something that they need answers for.
